The niche ‘Anchors’ is quite competitive and our sub-niche 'Drywall Anchors’ is even smaller. Being new on Amazon and among established well known brands, it can be tough to make a name and rank organically to drive profitable sales.

Step 1: Exhaustive Keyword Research

We began by conducting comprehensive keyword research for all our client’s products. This involved identifying relevant competitors and analyzing which keywords were performing well for them. Additionally, we searched for keywords they were not targeting and prioritized all keywords based on their relevance to our products with a great amount of search volume. On top of this, we have a delicate process to compare our ASIN’s conversion rate and click-through-rate to the market average so we can harness the potential of our managed products.

Step 2: Optimizing Listings and Launching Discovery Campaigns

Following our comprehensive keyword research, we optimized the product listings to enhance visibility and relevance. Simultaneously, we launched discovery campaigns to generate traction on Amazon, driving initial sales and identifying effective search terms for the products. We initially focused on keywords we had better conversion rate and click-through-rate than the market to make sure our campaigns will help our products to rank organically faster.

Step 3: Setting Up High-Relevance Campaigns for Profitable Scaling

To ensure we can scale the account at a profitable margin, we established campaigns targeting high-relevance keywords while also considering a decent search volume knowing that our product is listed under a less competitive niche. This strategy was designed to achieve a high conversion rate, essential for scaling overall revenue at a healthy margin.

Regularly, we added some negation to our discovery campaigns to refine targeting. For terms that performed well, we set up dedicated performance campaigns.
